How to Edit Photos in the Picaboo Editor

Enhance your project photos with Picaboo’s editing tools. Follow these steps to adjust, crop, filter, and position your images for the perfect look.
1. Open the Photo Editor
Action: Click the photo you want to edit.
Sidebar: The editing sidebar appears on the left with all tools.

2. Crop & Position
- Click Crop/Position.
- Zoom in/out and drag the crossed arrows to reposition the photo.
- To change aspect ratio, cancel cropping, then drag the blue boxes around the photo.
Note: Photos set as backgrounds must be deleted and re-added as individual photos to adjust.

3. Apply Filters & Adjustments
Filters:
- Select from options like Black & White, Breezy, Sunset, etc.
- Adjust the intensity slider.
Adjustments:

Fine-tune Brightness, Saturation, Contrast, Clarity, Exposure, Shadows, and Highlights.

4. Arrange Photo Placement
- Send Backward / Send to Back / Send Forward / Send to Front – layer your photo.
- Swap Photos – exchange positions of two photos.
- Rotate – rotate left or right.

Mirror – flip horizontally or vertically.

5. Additional Editing Tools
- Shadow: Add a shadow effect.
- Border: Adjust color and thickness.
- Shapes: Change frame shape.
- Corners: Apply rounded corners (Apply to Page / Apply to All).
- Opacity: Fade the photo.
Tip: For background fading, add as a photo, fit full page, and move behind other items.

6. Use Pre-Designed Backgrounds with Opacity
- Click Find More Backgrounds → select background.
- Choose Copy Background to Media Tray.
- Drag background from Media Tray to page.
- Apply as a photo, resize full page.
- Use Send to Back to place behind other items.

7. Delete or Replace Photos
- Delete: Click Remove Photo or press Delete key.
- Replace: Drag new photo into the frame → click Replace Photo.
