How can I change text color?

To change the color of your font, simply double-click the text to highlight it. Then, click the small square button to the far right in the toolbar below the caption box.

From there, select the color you wish to change the text to, and click SAVE. Another useful tool when selecting a color for your text is the eyedropper tool.
