Will the Low-Resolution Warning Appear in My Printed Book?

If you see a low-resolution warning while creating your project, it means the image you added may not have enough resolution to print clearly at the size you selected.

In some cases, you may choose to ignore the warning, especially if the photo is meaningful to you and you’re comfortable with it appearing slightly blurry in print. That’s completely okay.

If you proceed with ordering your book using photos that show the low-resolution warning, the warning icon will not appear in the printed book. Only the photo itself will be printed.

What Does the Low-Resolution Warning Mean?

A low-resolution warning appears when a photo might look blurry or pixelated when printed. This usually happens when:

• The image file is too small for the layout size.
• The photo was taken or saved in a lower resolution.
• The image has been enlarged significantly in the editor.

Will the Photo Still Print?

Yes. Photos with a low-resolution warning will still print, but the printed quality may not be as sharp as expected.

To get the best results, you can try the following:

• Use a higher-resolution version of the photo if available.
• Reduce the photo size on the page so it prints smaller.
• Replace the image with a clearer or higher-quality version.
