    Follow these steps:  Tips

You can customize the background behind your spine text to make it stand out and complement your book's cover design.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Open your photobook project in the Picaboo editor.
    2. Go to the Cover page.
    3. In the left-hand panel, click Spine Text.
    4. Check the box labeled Show Background Color.
    5. Click the color selector and choose the background color you'd like to display behind the spine text and click Save.
    6. Use the Opacity slider to adjust the transparency of the background

     Tips

    • The spine background only appears behind the spine text
    • Choose a background color that provides good contrast with your spine text for the best readability.
    • Use the Preview option to see how your spine will look before placing your order.

Note: If you don't see the Spine Text option, make sure you're editing the Cover page of a photobook that supports spine text.
