If your payment card was declined when placing your order, there are a few possible reasons. Here are some steps you can try:

    Verify Your Card Information

The most common reason for a declined card is incorrect information entered during checkout. Even minor typos or mismatched details can trigger a rejection. Before trying anything else, carefully review the following details:

    • Card number – Ensure every digit matches your physical card exactly
    • Expiration date – Double-check the month and year; an expired card will always be declined
    • Security code (CVV) – This three or four-digit code is on the back of your card; verify it's entered correctly
    • Billing address and ZIP/postal code – These must match the address on file with your card issuer

Address mismatches are a frequent culprit. If you've recently moved or your billing address differs from your shipping address, make sure you're entering the correct billing information associated with your card account.

    Try an Alternative Payment Method

If you've confirmed all your card details are correct but the payment still won't go through, consider using a different card. This approach helps determine whether the issue is specific to one card or a broader problem with your account. You might try:

    • A different credit card
    • A debit card
    • Another payment method if available

If an alternative card processes successfully, your original card may have a temporary hold, insufficient funds, or an issue flagged by your card issuer's fraud detection system.

    Common Reasons Cards Get Rejected

Beyond data entry errors, several other factors can cause a decline:

    • Insufficient funds – Your account balance is lower than the purchase amount
    • Fraud alerts – Your card issuer may block transactions they perceive as unusual activity
    • Card limits – You've reached your daily spending or transaction limit
    • Expired card – Your card's expiration date has passed
    • International restrictions – Your card issuer doesn't allow purchases in certain regions

If you suspect your card issuer flagged your transaction as fraudulent, contact your bank or card company directly to confirm the purchase and lift any temporary holds.

    Get Additional Support

If you've verified your information, tried alternative payment methods, and your card still won't process, it's time to reach out for help. Contact Customer Support and provide as much detail as possible, including:

    • A screenshot of the error message you received
    • The specific error code or text displayed
    • Which card type you're using (credit, debit, etc.)
    • Whether you've tried multiple cards

With this information, our support team can investigate the issue more thoroughly and help you complete your order successfully.
