📚 How to Add, Remove, and Move Pages in Your Book

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to add pages, delete pages/spreads, and rearrange your book pages to create the perfect layout for your project.

âž• Adding Pages

All of our books require a minimum of 20 pages, but you can add as many extra pages as your chosen book style allows. For details on page limits, see: How many pages can I put in my book?

How to Add Pages — Step by Step:

  1. Click “Add Pages” in the upper left corner of the editor, or select “Pages” in the bottom left corner.
  2. This opens the Manage Pages panel.
  3. Click the “+” icon to add pages. You’ll be able to choose whether to insert the new pages before or after the currently selected page.
  4. Use the dropdown menu to select how many pages to add.

âś… Note: Pages can only be added in pairs (two at a time) to maintain a balanced page count for printing.

Once confirmed, allow a few moments for the editor to add the pages — a spinning icon may appear while the update completes.

🗑️ Deleting Pages

All photobooks must have at least 20 pages to meet production requirements. You cannot delete pages if you book has the minimum number of pages.

To ensure your book prints correctly, only full two pages can be deleted — removing a single page is no longer supported.

How to Delete Pages — Step by Step:

  1. Click “Pages” on the left side of the editor.
  2. Locate the spread you want to delete.
  3. Click the red “X” below the two-page spread to remove it.

If you want to adjust a single page’s content instead of deleting it:

  • Replace it with a blank or new design.
  • Rearrange pages within your book as needed.
  • Or, delete the entire spread and rebuild it using the pages you want to keep (only two full pages can be deleted at a time).

âś… Tip: If you accidentally delete a spread, click the Undo button to restore it immediately.

🔄 Moving Pages

Rearranging pages is quick and easy:

  1. Open Manage Pages using the instructions above.
  2. Find the page or spread you’d like to move.
  3. Click and drag it to its new position in your book.

Your page count stays balanced automatically — so you can move pages and spreads freely without creating printing issues.
