How to Upload Photos Using Google Photos?

Uploading Images from Google Photos

Easily add your photos from Google Photos to Picaboo by following these simple steps:

 

STEP 1: Open the Photo Upload Menu

• • When starting a new project, click the "Photos" tab on the bottom left-hand side of the editor.  Then click Add Photos.

 

1. • • A pop up will appear and you will have several sources from which you can import images - Select the “Google Photos” upload option.

 

STEP 2: Connect to Google Photos

• • Click "Connect to Google Photos" to open a new window where you can browse and select your photos. Once the new window opens, please log-in with your Google Photos credentials to access your photos.

 

• • • Troubleshooting: If the window doesn’t open, your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Look for a notification in the address bar and allow pop-ups for this site.

      • Step 1: After clicking "Connect to Google Photos," check the right side of the address bar for a pop-up icon. Click the icon.

        Step 2: Select "Always allow pop-ups from this site."

        Step 3: Click "Done." The Google Photos pop-up should now appear.

 

STEP 3: Select and Upload Your Photos

• • Choose the images you want to upload and click "Done." Tip: You can search for specific photos or albums using the search bar.

 

• • A confirmation message with a green checkmark will appear once you click "Done" - the upload is complete. 

 

STEP 4: Return to Picaboo

• • Once you see the confirmation message, you can close the pop-up and return to the Picaboo site where all of your photos will be uploaded for you. 

 

• • Your selected photos will now appear in the Picaboo editor Media Tray. 

 

 

Troubleshooting

• Photos Not Appearing?
  • Your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Check the address bar for a notification and allow pop-ups for this site.

    • Step 1: After clicking "Connect to Google Photos," check the right side of the address bar for a pop-up icon. Click the icon.

      Step 2: Select "Always allow pop-ups from this site."

      Step 3: Click "Done." The Google Photos pop-up should now appear.
