When creating a project, there are multiple file types you can import into Picaboo:
- .JPG
- .PNG
- .HEIC
JPG files are probably one of the most universal image file types saved.
PNG file types have an advantage over JPG in one specific area. You can save a .PNG file with a transparent background. This makes PNG file ideal for special effects such as what we call Embellishments.
HEIC files are taken on Apple iPhones.
Although other file types (such as .tiff for example) are not currently supported and will need to be converted to jpg or png format before it can imported into Picaboo, we may offer more options in the future.
